Same Firearm Identified as having been using in three murder case

Three murder cases

  • Murder case from District Lahore FIR Nov 2016
  • Murder case from District Kasur FIR May 2017
  • Murder case from District Kasur FIR May 2017

Through Firearms Database and Automated Ballistics Identification System (ABIS), it was found that above mentioned three murder incidents were committed by using the same 9mm firearm and hence by same culprits.

Four Target Killing Incidents of Quetta Linked with One Firearm

Firearms Database and Automated Ballistics Identification System (ABIS) installed at PFSA produced vital information that four target killing incidents of Quetta City belonging to different police stationsat different time intervals were found to be committed by using same 9mm firearm. Cases belong to years 2017 & 2018.
Later on a 9mm firearm recovered from culprits was also matched with these four target killing incidents.

An Untraced Murder Case of 2011 Identified as Committed with a firearms recovered in 2017

An old untraced murder case of 2011 belonging to Lahore District was found to be committed by a firearm which was recovered in 2017 in another murder case.
It became possible only because of Firearms Database and Automated Ballistics Identification System (ABIS) installed at PFSA.

Two incidents of policemen target killings identified as having been committed with one firearm

Two different policemen target killing incidents of district Faisalabad in 2015 were identified to be committed by using same 9mm firearm. Identification was made with the help of Firearms Database and Automated Ballistics Identification System (ABIS).
