Quetta Case 2016
Police Station Civil Lines, Quetta submitted CCTV footages of the incident with request to provide forensically enhanced pictures of the suspect and handler. The desired images were images were successfully extracted and provided to the case submitter.
Mall Road Case
Police Station CTD, Lahore submitted the evidence CCTV footages of the incident with the request to provide forensically enhanced pictures of the suspect and handler. The desired images were images were successfully extracted and provided to the case submitter.
Sehwan Case
Police Station Sehwan, Jamshoro, Sindh submitted evidence containing CCTV footages of the incident with the request to provide forensically enhanced pictures of the suspect and handler. The desired images were images were successfully extracted and provided to the case submitter.
Sangla Hill Case
Police Station City Sangla Hill, Nankana Sahib submitted the evidence containing One (01) USB containing seven (07) photos and three (03) videos relating to lip-stitching case with the request to check originality of videos, opine about the nature of torture and possibility of identifying any suspects in the video. The desired images were images were successfully extracted and provided to the case submitter.
Facial Comparison Case
This Case was received directly from The Supreme Court of Pakistan. Evidence submitted included: One CD containing CNIC card, One University of the Punjab Admission Form, One University of the Punjab Roll No. Slip and One poster. Moreover, suspect was brought to PFSA for photographic comparison with the photo seen in Admission Form and Roll No. Slip. Reference photo of suspect, taken at PFSA, was compared with the questioned photo on Admission Form and Roll No. Slip in four stages. In each stage the reference CNIC photo provided by NADRA was also compared with the questioned photo. Based on the results obtained after performing the stages for forensic image comparison conclusion was drawn about the matching between the reference and questioned photos.
ISIS Case
Police Station CTD, Gujranwala submitted evidence containing One (01) DVD containing video clip related to ISIS with the request to check originality of videos, provide pictures of banners/flags, visible pictures of the persons and mosque, enhancement of audio and facial comparison of suspects. After forensic frame by frame analysis the originality of the videos was confirmed, Forensically enhanced pictures of banners/flags, persons and mosque were provided, Forensically enhanced audio of oath being administered was provided and Forensic facial comparison was done between reference photos and persons seen in the videos.
Kasur Case
Police Station Ganda Singh Wala, Kasur submitted the evidence containing Two CDs relating to sodomy acts against children in Kasur, CD 1 containing 47 video clips of acts of sodomy and CD 2 containing reference videos of four (04) accused and sixteen (16) victims. The facial image comparison was made between the videos in CD1 and the reference videos provided in CD2.
Model Town Case
Police Station Faisal Town, Lahore submitted evidence containing Twenty seven (27) DVDs relating to Model Town Incident for analysis to check originality of the videos. Frame by frame analysis was conducted. The originality of the visual evidence was confirmed after forensic analysis.
Youhanabad Case
On 15-03-2015, Bomb blasts in Youhanabad Churches occurred. Two (2) persons were burnt by the protesters. Police Station, Nishtar Colony, Lahore submitted the evidence containing 8 USB Drives were submitted 105 video files of total 30GB size. After forensic enhancements, 100 photographs of suspects were provided to the police. Afterwards, police brought total 32 arrested accused persons and their photographic comparison was done.
Jaranwala Case
This case was submitted by SP Jaranwala Division, Faisalabad. The Scope of analysis was comparison of suspects and victims brought to PFSA with the persons seen committing sodomy in the submitted video evidence. Forensic Facial comparison analysis was conducted and matching suspects and victims were identified.
Kasur Zainab Case
Police Station A Division, Kasur submitted the case of Zainab’s kidnapping, rape and murder with the request to clarify suspect’s video. After forensic analysis, enhanced pictures of suspect were provided. The clothes of the suspect and victim were matched with those seen in the CCTV footage.
